THE Limerick woman who died in a road crash in County Clare on Saturday morning has been named as Aileen Page (nee O’Brien).

THE Limerick woman who died in a road crash in County Clare on Saturday morning has been named as Aileen Page (nee O’Brien).

Mrs Page, 36, who was originally from Pallaskenry, had been living in the Raheen area of the city in recent times.

She died when the car she was driving left the road and hit a tree near Shannon at around 5am yesterday.

It is understood Mrs Page, who got married last year, was on her way to work at Shannon Airport when the accident happened.

Gardai at Shannon are investigating the circumstances of the fatal crash.
