Gardai launch enquiry after man at Limerick house party falls onto street from three floors up

GARDAI are to speak to people who attended a house party at John Street overnight on Thursday after a young man fell three floors from the building and on to the street.

He has been taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle and is believed to be in a serious condition with head injuries. The ambulance service responded to the call at around 6am on Friday.

Gardai have sealed off an area of John Street and also hope to speak people they believe were attending a party at the address at the time. Officers at Henry Street said they were "keeping an open mind" in the early stages of the investigation.
