A SELF-EMPLOYED delivery man from County Limerick is celebrating after he won €59,000 on ‘The Big MOney Game’ tv show.

A SELF-EMPLOYED delivery man from County Limerick is celebrating after he won €59,000 on ‘The Big MOney Game’ tv show.

Mike, Hickey from Grange East, Brittas was one of five contestants who appeared on the first show of the series on Saturday night.

The father-of-two, who delivers meat around counties Limerick, Clare, Tipperary and north Cork, bought the winning scratch car at Elm Court Service Station, Ballyneety after he won a €1 scratch card in the Euromillions.

Mike, who is married to Marie, comes from a big GAA family and he manages the Caherline Hurling team and trains two under age teams in Boher.

He won €39,000 during the gameshow and added a further €20,000 on the “Big Money Game”

The Hickey family are going on holiday to Portugal next month and Mike is hoping that his winnings will pay it with any remaining money going towards home improvements.
