A LIMERICK man has been granted bail after he appeared in court on drugs charges.

A LIMERICK man has been granted bail after he appeared in court on drugs charges.

John Mullins, 42, of O’Malley Park, Southill was arrested on Monday night after heroin and cannabis were seized during a garda search of his home. The street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be €32,000.

Mullins appeared before Limerick Court after he was charged with possession of heroin for the purpose of sale or supply.

The defendant was granted bail and is due to appear before the court again on February 29, next.
