GARDAI have said that missing Limerick teenager Adam Dunne has been found “safe and well”.

GARDAI have said that missing Limerick teenager Adam Dunne has been found “safe and well”.

The Garda Press Office released a statement this Wednesday lunchtime to confirm that the 15 year old, who had not been seen since October 5, had been located.

“Gardai have located Adam Dunne safe and well. Thank you for your assistance. No further action required,” it said.

A national appeal had been issued through the Garda Press Office to find the teenager, and a number of searches were conducted locally and in Dublin, with gardai making enquiries with relatives and friends of Adam’s.

He had last been seen near the city centre at around 7pm on Monday, October 5. Adam had been living in Limerick prior to his disappearance.
