Funeral arrangements announced following triple tragedy

THE funeral Mass for three brothers who lost their lives in tragic circumstances on Thursday will take place in their home town of Charleville on Monday.

Nine-year-old twin Thomas and Paddy O’Driscoll and their 21-year-old brother Jonathan were found dead after an apparent murder-suicide.

Their remains will be reposing in O’Malley’s funeral home in Charleville from 1.30pm today, until removal to Holy Cross church, Charleville at 4pm.

Their funeral Mass takes place at 12 noon tomorrow. Paddy and Thomas will be buried in Holy Cross cemetery, Charleville, followed by Jonathan’s burial in Kilmallock cemetery at 3pm.

Gardaí have confirmed that no-one else is being sought in connection with the three deaths.

Thomas and Paddy are believed to have been stabbed at their home at Deerpark, Charleville, and were discovered by their younger brother.

Jonathan’s body was discovered some 15km away beside a river in Buttevant.

The O’Driscoll brothers are regretted by their parents Helen (nee Conway-O’Reilly) and Thomas, brothers Jimmy and Martin, sister Bernadette, grandmother, brother-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins relatives and friends.
