TRIBUTES have been paid to Julie-Anne Dineen who died in the early hours of this morning following her brave fight against cancer.

TRIBUTES have been paid to Julie-Anne Dineen who died in the early hours of this morning following her brave fight against cancer.

The much loved local lady and mother of two young boys touched the hearts of many people in Limerick for highlighting awareness around breast cancer and setting up a support group for women.

She passed away in the early hours of this Monday morning in Milford Care Centre.

Since being diagnosed with cancer more than three years ago, her husband Dave Dineen has raised up to €100,000 for local cancer services.

Julie-Anne is survived by her husband Dave, sons Sean and Matty, parents Michael and Eileen, sister Genevieve and brothers John, Luke and Adam.

Her requiem mass will be held in St Joseph’s Church at noon on Wednesday, followed by her burial in Mount St Oliver cemetery.
