A MAN and a woman are being questioned about a tiger kidnapping in County Limerick last week.

The pair, who are aged in their 20s, were arrested this morning during a pre-planned operation near Gort in County Galway.

They’re being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station in Limerick city.

It is believed up to a €100,000 was handed over after a member of staff at Newcastle West Post Office was locked in the boot of his car for almost eight hours.

Another female worker handed over the money after she was contacted by the culprits.
