Limerick man accused of sexually assaulting nieces to face trial
A 64 year old man is to face trial at Limerick Circuit Court accused of sexually assaulting two of his nieces.

A 64 year old man is to face trial at Limerick Circuit Court accused of sexually assaulting two of his nieces.

The man, who can’t be named for legal reasons, is charged with four counts of sexually assaulting, and one count of indecently assaulting one of the alleged victims on dates between 1990 and 2001.

The offences are alleged to have taken place at a number of locations in Limerick including Roxboro Shopping Centre and the Crescent Shopping Centre.

It is alleged the second girl was sexually assaulted by the accused on three different occasions on dates between May 2006 and September 2007.

The case of the 64 year old was sent forward for trial after separate books of evidence were completed and served on him.
