NURSES at the emergency department of the Mid-Western Regional Hospital have begun a four-hour work stoppage.
Nurses say the stoppage - the second in a week - is taking place the to highlight the serious risks to patients they claim have come about from inadequate staffing levels and cutbacks.
Members of the INMO and SIPTU took to the picket lines at 8.30 this morning.
