Four men are being questioned in relation to a violent assault on the southside of Limerick city earlier this year.

According to gardai, he suffered minor injuries including several stab wounds to his head.
Four males, aged between 17 and 36 were arrested during a planned operation yesterday morning.
Three are being held at Roxboro Road garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, while the fourth man is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act on suspicion of withholding information.
