Man killed in County Limerick road crash

INVESTIGATIONS are continuing after a teenager was killed in a road crash in County Limerick this morning.

19-year-old Richard Browne of Balliniska, Feohanagh died in the single vehicle crash which happened at around 8.20am on the N21 near Rathkeale.

He was the only person in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Afterwards, his body was removed to the Mid Western Regional Hospital where a post mortem will be conducted.

The scene of the crash was sealed off for several hours as gardai conducted technical examinations.

Gardai at Rathkeale are investigating the cause of the accident.
