Ireland’s biggest dog show takes place in County Limerick

MAN’S best friend will take centre stage this Thursday at the All Breed Championship International Dog Show in Adare.

Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel will again host the show which is organised and hosted by Limerick & District Canine Club with over 1,600 dogs entered in various competitions.

Judging of the more than 200 dog breeds will continue throughout the day and parking is available for the thousands of people who are expected to attend the event.

The show, which is the biggest of its kind in Ireland, offers a unique spectacle and and pedigrees of dogs such as the majestic Irish Wolf Hound and the energetic Spinone Italiano will all be on show along with more familiar breeds of dog such as Labradors and Basset Hounds.

Judges and exhibitors have travelled from all corners of Ireland, Northern Ireland, England and Europe for the show, which will continuei until late this evening.
