Man seriously injured in Co Limerick car crash

Three men are in hospital following a road crash in Kildimo in the early hours of this morning.

THREE men are in hospital following a single-car crash near Kildimo this morning.

A 21-year-old man is being treated at Cork University Hospital for head trauma, while the other two passengers who were in the motor are at the University Hospital Limerick.

The car left the road at Ballycasey near Kildimo at around 3 o’clock this morning.

Two units of the City and County Fire and Rescue Service from Rathkeale and Foynes attended the scene, along with three ambulances.

All three men were treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to the University Hospital Limerick.

The 21-year-old was then transferred to Cork University Hospital at 9am this morning for further treatment. The other two men remain in Limerick where they are believed to be in a stable condition.
