INVESTIGATIONS are underway after a number of buildings near the city centre were targeted by vandals overnight.

Graffiti was sprayed across the front windows of several buildings in the Mount Kenneth and Dock Road areas as well as on Henry Street.

The buildings targeted included an apartment complex, a HSE office and the studios of Live 95FM.

Gardai visited a number of the premises this morning and CCTV footage is likely to be viewed as part of the inquiry.
