Funeral arrangements have been announced for Chloe Kinsella, whose body was recovered from the river Shannon yesterday.
The 15-year-old schoolgirl had not been seen since she left her home at Kenyon Avenue, Kileely last Saturday evening,
Gardai, specialst search teams, the coastguard helicopter and hundreds of volunteers were involved in painstaking searches for Chloe prior to the discovery of her body at Brown’s Quay near Thomondgate.
A post mortem was carried out this morning and gardai say foul play has been ruled out. A formal inquest into Chloe’s death is expected to be heard later in the year.
It has been announced that her remains will be removed from Cross’ Funeral Home at 6pm tomorrow to Saint Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand.
Her funeral mass will take place at 11am on Monday with burial afterwards in Mount Saint Oliver cemetery.
Chloe is survived by her mother Shirley, father Kevin and her brothers and sisters.
