At Limerick Circuit Court the 17-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to setting the houses on fire on April 8, 2009.

The houses were located alongside each other at Naughton’s Place, off Henry Street.

Because of the age of the defendant, Judge Carroll Moran requested a probation report in the case,

He adjourned sentencing until January 24, next.
