Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather alert for Limerick warning of Spring Tides, and southwest to westerly gales
MET Eireann has issued a Yellow weather alert for Limerick city and county warning that gales and flooding can be expected this evening.

MET Eireann has issued a Yellow weather alert for Limerick city and county warning that gales and flooding can be expected this evening.

The alert - the third highest in terms of seriousness - is warning members of the puplic of potential high seas and spring tides with southwest to westerly gales also.

The warning, which also applies to counties Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry will remain in place until 9 o’clock this evening.
