GARDAI have issued an appeal for information about an aggravated burglary at a house in County Limerick.
A man was confronted outside his home in Lisnagry at around 10am last Wednesday by two men who were armed with a hatchet.
The culprits, who were also wearing balaclavas, forced the man into his house where they demanded the keys to a black Volkswagen Golf GTI, which they then fled in.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with information or who may have seen the 11-D registered vehicle being driven at speed in the area to contact them
The culprits were both dressed in all black and spoke with Limerick accents.
“One is described as 5’7” of slim build and the second is described as 5’10” also of slim build,” said a garda spokesperson.
