Limerick trio on All Star tour to China
THREE Limerick hurlers jet out to China this Tuesday as part of the GAA’s All Star tour.
Blackrock’s Richie McCarthy travels as a 2013 All Star, while Nickie Quaid (Effin) and Paul Browne (Bruff) secured berths on the tour as replacements after others were forced to withdraw due to club and work commitments.
The final destination for the touring part is Shanghai.
The exhibition game in the coming days will be the first time that a game of hurling will be officially played in China.
