Na Piarsaigh set up a Limerick SHC final meeting with Adare thanks to a 2-13 to 2-12 win over champions Kilmallock on Sunday.
Na Piarsaigh were totally in control in the opening half and led 2-10 to 0-5 at the break, their goals coming from Shane Dowling and Kevin Ryan.
Na Piarsaigh rallied somewhat in the second half and although they eventually reduced the gap to a point, they left it too late and Na Piarsaigh held on.
They now play Adare in the final on Sunday, October 6, in what will be a repeat of the 2009 final, a remarkably one-sided game that Adare won 1-17 to 0-3.
