Update expected on Munster appointment today
MUNSTER CEO Garrett Fitzgerald is set to update the media today regarding the province’s head coach appointment.
Rob Penney’s departure was confirmed earlier this month - and Anthony Foley is hotly tipped to replace the New Zealander.
Foley was overlooked two years ago when Penney was appointed but has wide support this time around.
Penney will see out the rest of the season with Munster as they chase glory on two fronts. They have already secured a home quarter-final in the Heineken Cup and entertain Toulouse in April while they are also top of the RaboDirect PRO12. They play Ospreys away this Sunday at 4pm.
