September 14 - Where are the disc dispensers in city?

If the city is going to make people pay for parking discs, the least they could do is make them more easily available, writes John Nugent of Ardnacrusha
WHEN I go to Limerick for shopping or other business, I park in the vicinity of City Hall. However, there is no parking disc dispenser in the area.

Shoppers are forced to walk to the city centre to get a parking disc and return to their car to display it. This is nonsensical. Even Lahinch, a little town, has dispensing machines every few metres on their promenade.

Maybe your paper could ask the Council why this is the case. Do they want shoppers to visit the city? I talk to people with similar complaints. Please help rectify this problem.
