This week in the Leader: more great nostalgia pictures from our archive

AFTER the great reaction to our six-part magazine series All Our Yesterdays, we continue the nostalgia theme this week with another fabulous spread of pictures from the past.

We’ll feature everything from garden fetes in the county to 1990 World Cup celebrations in the city, and we’ll have more pictures of Limerick folk at the ill-fated 1994 All-Ireland hurling final, which Limerick lost in such agonising circumstances.

Some of the pictures have never been published. They are part of Limerick’s biggest and best archive photograph collection. We’ve been talking pictures of Limerick people out and about for more than 60 years - and you never know who’s going to turn up in any given week!

Follow the Leader for the best of Limerick nostalgia, every week.
