Recent deaths in Limerick

Clare O'Mahony (née O'Brien Moran), late of Fort Mary, Castleconnell and Adare, Co. Limerick, died gracefully on 1st November 2016, at Milford Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Frank (of O' Mahony's Booksellers Limerick). Mourned and celebrated by her loving children Paul, Frank, Patricia, David, Deirdre and Peter, daughters-in-law Edel, Breda, Kathryn and Helga, son-in-law Phil, 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, OBMs and extended families.

She inspired, encouraged & loved most generously.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards to Mount St Lawrence Cemetery. Donations to SVP Limerick.

 

The death has occurred of Michael O'Connor, 4 The Cross, Ardagh, Limerick.

Survived by daughters Alice, Margaret, Mary, and Kathleen, sons Billy, Johnny, Mike and Joe, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home Newcastle West on Thursday, 3rd November from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St. Molua's Church Ardagh. Requiem mass Friday 4th November at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Oliver Woods, Main Street, Hospital, Limerick, on 30th October 2016.

Survived by brothers Jackie, Gussie, Frank and James, sisters Teresa, Pauline, Bernadette and Mary, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O' Leary's Funeral Home, Hospital on Wednesday from 4.30pm with removal at 7pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Hospital. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Breda Hickey (née Brennan) of Millmount, Kilmallock, Limerick. Breda passed away very peacefully in the wonderful care of all at Mallow General Hospital on November 1st 2016.

Predeceased by her husband John. Survived by her daughter Catherine, Catherine’s partner Adrian, sister Mary, brother Johnny, grandchildren, Leanne, Cecile, Callum, Éadaoin, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, very kind neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing Wednesday evening from 6.30pm at Daffy’s Funeral Home, Kilmallock followed by removal 7.30pm to SS Peter and Paul's Church, Kilmallock. Requiem at 12 noon on Thursday. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to TLC 4 CF (Limerick Branch).

 

The death has occurred of Kathleen Dennehy (née Mc Kenna), of Lansdowne Gardens, Limerick City and late of Cloughjordan, Co, Tipperary on October 30, 2016, peacefully in the wonderful loving care of the staff at Sarsfield Ward, St.Camillus Hospital

Wife of the late John and sister of the late Jim, Paddy, Ella and Monica. Deeply regretted by her loving sister Peg (Hogan) and brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the home of her sister-in-law Mary Mc Kenna, Loughane, Cloughjordan, Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow Thursday at 12 noon, in St Michael and John's Church, Cloughjordan. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers please, by request.
