Workshop to 'build' ideas for living in Georgian Limerick

Living Georgian, a community design workshop on the topic of living in Georgian Limerick, will be held in the FabLab Limerick, 7 Rutland Street next week

Living Georgian, a community design workshop on the topic of living in Georgian Limerick, will be held in the FabLab Limerick, 7 Rutland Street, on Wednesday September 14 from 6pm to 7.30pm.

The workshop is part of a series of community design workshops run by the School of Architecture in the University of Limerick and they are encouraging any interested people to come along and contribute.

The aim of the workshop is to identify community collaboration projects to improve the public realm and the general liveability of Georgian Limerick.

They also hope to hold a community workshop to help identify neighbourhood regeneration projects which members of the public may wish to take part in.

The School of Architecture in the University of Limerick will be presenting any design ideas which are approved of at the workshop at the Culture Night event 'Park up and Picnic' on Friday, September 16 at 6pm on Mallow Street in front of the Canteen Restaurant.
