UHL welcomes physiotherapy students in training

THE UNIVERSITY Hospital Limerick has welcomed its first group of physiotherapy students who will be on placement in Dooradoyle, as part of their two-year programme.

 Dr Norelee Kennedy, head of clinical therapies, UL, Jean Quinn Mc Donogh, director of physiotherapy, UHL, Mary Flahive, BSc tutor, Sarah Kennedy, MSc tutor and Maire Curran, MSc tutor welcome the students on their clinical placement last week, Kathryn Fahy, Grainne Kearney, Kate Wickham, Alison Coneys, Grace Collins and Eoin Walsh.

In the last quarter of 2016, students on placement and staff will have access to classrooms and educational facilities at the new Clinical Education and Research Centre, in Dooradoyle.

It is expected to be ready by October 2016.
