Deaths in Limerick - November 14, 2017

The death has occurred of Peig Cribbin (née Franklin), Farrandale, Shanagolden, peacefully at home after a brief illness.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters, Olive (Noonan), Michele (Byrne), Fiona (Moloney) and son John Paul, sister Maidie, brothers Noel and Seán, sons in law Conor, Jim and John, daughter in law Liz, adored grandchildren, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Madigan’s Funeral Home Shanagolden Wednesday from 6pm – 8pm with removal to St. Senan's Church Shanagolden. Requiem Mass Thursday at 12 noon in St. Senan’s Church followed by burial afterwards in local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Milford Hospice.

The death has occurred of James (Jim) O'Connor, Abbeylands, Rathkeale, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Survived by his wife Lilly, sons Seamus, John,Kenneth and Peter (partner Sonia), daughter Linda (Madigan), son-in-law Denis, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O'Grady's Funeral Home, Ballingarry on Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm arriving at St. Mary's Church, Rathkeale at 8.45pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 4pm.

The death has occurred of James P. (Jimmy) O’Kelly, Galway Road, Roscommon Town, Roscommon and formerly of Glenamaddy, Co Galway and Croagh, Co Limerick, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Oakwood Nursing Home.

Beloved father of the late David (Ballygar). He will be very sadly missed by his devoted wife Mary, sons James (Jim) (Ballaghaderreen), Éamon (Longford), Bernard (Isle of Man) and Dermot (Galway), sisters Lillian (Newcastle West), Frances (Limerick), Patricia (Ardagh, Limerick) and Eda (Tralee), brothers Vincent (Croom) and Kieran (Galway), daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday from 4.30pm until 6.30pm, followed by Removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 11.30am Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ling Ling (Roberta) Stevenson, Ballykeeffe Estate, Dooradoyle, late Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses, peacefully.

Beloved wife of Owen. Dearly loved mother of Noah and baby Aisling. Sadly missed by her loving brother Ken, parents, sister-in-law Charis, brother-in-law Terence, mother-in-law Jo, nephew Alex, niece Charlotte, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Friday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm. Service at the Kingdom Hall, lower Gerald Griffin Street on Saturday at 12 noon followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium. House private. Family flowers only. The death has occurred of Ron Taylor, 37 Bishop's Court, Newcastle West, peacefully at his residence.

Husband of the late Lolo (nee Roche). Deeply regretted by daughter, sons, family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home tomorrow, Wednesday from 6.30pm to 8pm. Arriving at Newcastle West Church at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass Thursday at 11.30am and burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Alzheimer's Society, Adare.

The death has occurred of Michael White, Kinsale and Bandon and late of Athea, suddenly at Cork University Hospital.

Loving father of Eimear, Niamh, Sinead (Murray) and Ciara. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, their mother Pat, son-in-law Bob, grandchildren Lauren, Alex and Michael, his partner Ann, relatives and a large circle of friends. Funeral arrangements later.
