Deaths in Limerick - November 25, 2016

The death has occurred of Tom Bennis, of Granville Park, Limerick City, late of Howmedica, passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved husband of Ann and dearest father of David, Alan & Adrian. Deeply regretted by his wife and sons, daughters-in-law Caroline & Anne-Marie beloved grandchildren Lauren, Scott, Stephen, Frankie & Julia, brother & sisters, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Sunday, November 27th, from 4pm. Removal at 5.30pm to St. John’s Cathedral. Burial on Monday, November 28th after 11am Mass in Mount St. Lawrence (Ext.) Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Hayes, of The Welcome Inn, Garryspillane, Kilmallock, Limerick on November 23, 2016. 

Pre-deceased by his wife Eileen, brothers John, Tim and Mick, sisters Peggy and Joan. Deeply regretted by his loving sons Michael, Pat and John, daughters Mary and Veronica, partner Carmel, sister Ann, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Fraser's Funeral Home, Galbally, Co. Limerick this Saturday evening from 4.30pm to 8pm. Remains arriving at Glenbrohane Church at 8.45pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 10am. Burial afterwards in Auraclaw Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Con (C.C.) O'Rourke, of Whitethorn Drive, Caherdavin Heights, Limerick City, Limerick and formerly of the Square, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, late of Mary Murphy’s Pub, on 23rd November 2016, peacefully at Milford Care Centre.

Beloved husband of the late Chris. Dearly loved father of Bernard and Mark. Sadly missed by his loving daughters-in-law Suzanne and Lisa, grandchildren Caoimhe and Olan, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Friday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by removal to Christ the King Church, Caherdavin. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Abbeyfeale. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

 

The death has occurred of Joan KELLEHER (née Garvey)

13 St. Patrick's Villas, Castleconnell, Limerick, on November 23rd 2016, peacefully at Milford Care Centre. Sadly missed by her loving mother Joan, daughters Yvonne and Tracey, sons Mike and Mark, brothers Jack, Martin & Vinny, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence 13 St. Patrick's Villas on Friday, 25th November, from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 26th at 11.30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Castleconnell. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Castleconnell.

 

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peg) Hough (née Sexton), of Dually, Newcastle West, Limerick, peacefully at her residence on 23rd November 2016. Mother of the late Jerry. Survived by her loving husband Tony, sons Patrick, John and Philip, daughters Helen, Maire and Mairead, sister Eileen, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Reidy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Friday, 25th of November, from 6pm to 8pm. Arriving at Newcastle West Church on Saturday, 26th of November, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
