Deaths in Limerick - November 30, 2016

The death has occurred of Celine Donlan (née Fahy), late of Carey's Road and Hyde Road, Limerick City. Celine has died in Manchester UK.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald. Deeply regretted by her daughter Susan, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Emma and Peter, sisters Ann, Margaret and Patsy, brothers Bernard and Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Thursday 1st December from 5pm. Removal at 6pm to St. John’s Cathedral. Funeral Mass on Friday 2nd December at 11am. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kate) Delee (née Harnett), Meenoline, Templeglantine, Limerick, on November 28th. 2016.

Wife of the late Johnny; deeply regretted by her loving son Jim, daughters Margaret, Noreen and Catherine, sister-in-law Mary Flanagan (Mountcollins), sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Margaret McElligott’s residence, Meenoline, Templeglantine on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday to The Chuch of The Most Holy Trinity, Templeglantine to arrive for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Reilig na Tríonóide, Templeglantine.

 

The death has occurred of James O'Brien, of Barrington's Bridge, Lisnagry, Limerick, on November 30th 2016 peacefully at the University Hospital, Limerick.

Beloved son of the late William and Margaret, predeceased by his brothers John, Michael and Joseph, and sisters Mary and Margaret. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (née Hourigan), son William, daughters Mona and Marguerite, sons-in-law Walter and Seamus, grandchildren Isobel and Aisling, brother Liam, sisters Sr. Assumpta, Anne O'Kelly and Patricia McInerney, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neices, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Meehan's Funeral Home, Newport on Friday evening, 2nd December, from 5pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. Patrick's Church, Ahane. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 3rd December, at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Clonkeen cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Michael (Mike) Madigan, of Merval Drive, Clareview, Limerick, formerly of Cragmore, Askeaton, Co. Limerick, late Krups, on 29th November 2016, at the Galway Clinic.

Beloved husband of Ann and the late Delia. Dearly loved father of Brien and Joanne. Sadly missed by his stepchildren Donnacha, Edel and Eoin, sons-in-laws Seamus and Jeff, daughters-in-law Fidelma and Gemma, grandchildren, Jack, Billie, Beth, Roisin, John, Aoife, Dean, Kate and Megan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephew Liam, niece, Orla, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Thursday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church Ennis Road. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by private cremation on Saturday. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

 

The death has occurred of Joan Roche (née Barry), of Mondellihy, Dromcollogher, Limerick on November 29th, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and close friends.

Beloved wife of the late William. Sadly missed by her sons Denis, Richard, Laurence and William, daughters Esther, Bernadette Daly, Bridget Moloney, Claire Carroll and Josephine, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rosary at her residence at 8.30pm on today Wednesday. Reposing at her residence on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. Arriving in St Bartholomew's Church, Dromcollogher for Requiem Mass on Friday at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in local cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Dromcollogher Respite Centre.
