ONE lucky Limerick person has become a millionaire after sharing the jackpot in Saturday’s National Lottery draw.

One of the two winning tickets in Saturday night’s €2m Lotto draw was purchased at Raheen Foodstores.

The lucky person, or syndicate, who will share the jackpot with somebody from Wexford, bought a €4 quick pick on Friday night.

Keelin Ryan from Raheen Foodstores said the identity of the winner is still a mystery.

“We got a phone call from the Lottery last night to say we were the shop that sold the winning ticket. We’re not sure ourselves what customer it was, or any great detail but it’s brilliant. There’s a great buzz in the shop and we hope that it’s a local person,” she said.

The winning numbers were 4, 8, 15, 18, 19, 22, and the bonus was 1.

Wednesday night’s Lotto jackpot is a guaranteed €2m.

Meanwhile, the winning Euromillions ticket of €137m was sold in Spain, however there was one winning ticket for the Plus top prize of €500,000, which was sold in the Mid West.
