MUNSTER legend Alan Quinlan is to join in the fun at a family fun day is to take place at Garryowen RFC this Saturday.
It is being organised by telecommunications provider eircom to highlight its investment programme.
From 12.30pm, the rugby club will open for business, with eircom staff highlighting the benefits broadband brings for business homes and the local community.
While this is going on, there will also be a family fun day with activities for all ages, including an online games room, a movie room and face painting for the little ones.
Outside, there will be a rugby skills workshop with former Munster back row Quinlan.
Carolan Lennon, managing director of eircom Wholesale, the business division responsible for delivering the nationwide Open Access network said: “I’m delighted that our investment programme is at an advanced stage and seeing great progress in Limerick.
“At a national level we’re now well over halfway through the rollout of a €400 million investment programme that is making a huge difference to local communities with over 800,000 premises now able to access this latest technology.”
