GARDAI are investigating an allegation of dangerous driving on the main street in Kilmallock at the weekend.
“There was an allegation of a dangerous driving incident where a parked car was damaged and that’s under investigation,” said a garda spokesperson.
The Limerick Leader understands that an ambulance was also called to Lord Edward Street in the town in the early hours of Sunday morning following an incident on the street in which a man received injuries.
It is understood that the injuries were sustained during what locals described as “a heated fracas”.
It is understood that the man was taken to University Hospital Limerick but his injuries were not said to be very serious.
“There was an incident and we are appealing for witnesses. We have had no complaint from any persons. If any person makes a complaint we will fully investigate everything,” said the garda spokesperson.
