A HOUSE on Limerick’s North Circular Road has been destroyed by fire this Tuesday morning.
Six units of the fire service attended the scene of the fire, across the road from Villiers School.
The emergency services were alerted to the fire just before 7.20am this morning, and they remain on the scene. There were no requests for the ambulance service to assist anyone injured in the fire.
It is understood that the owner of the house and some family members were there at the time of the fire, but no one suffered any injuries. The whole roof is destroyed.
One local resident said the house was “completely gutted”.
“The whole roof is gone. The fire service are still spraying water on it. It is unbelievable.”
