specialist access equipment providers Blulift are to offer a local club or voluntary group or club the use of their equipment in a competition running this week in tandem with Spin South West FM.
The prize is designed to help local organisations safely undertake jobs at height and tackle a problem they may have been putting off for some time.
John Cusack of Blulift said “the idea came about when we were contacted by a number of local organisations who use our equipment to maintain sports grounds from fixing floodlights to painting clubhouses”.
“We felt that many local organisations could address a lot of jobs that they have been putting off due to perceived cost or lack of knowledge of where to source specialist equipment to tackle these jobs safely,” continued Mr Cusack.
“The range of applications is very broad so everyone from a group of local residents looking to tidy up their estate to a club looking to give the clubhouse a facelift can benefit from the prize,” he added.
The joint initiative with Spin South West starts today and groups can enter by listening to Spin Talk on the station each day. Organisations will submit the local project they feel would benefit the most by having the use of access equipment to work safely at height.
