FUNERAL arrangements have been announced for the four-year-old boy who died tragically in a road accident in Lough Gur last week.

FUNERAL arrangements have been announced for the four-year-old boy who died tragically in a road accident in Lough Gur last week.

Jack McDonnell Cummins, from Carrigmore, Doon was travelling in the car with his parents, John and Carmel, and twin brothers Sean and Philip, aged six, when the two car collision occurred.

It occurred at Patrickswell, Lough Gur at a junction near the Honey Fitz Theatre on Monday afternoon, July 22.

Funeral arrangements were delayed as Jack’s father received medical treatment for his injuries in University Hospital Limerick, and to allow him to attend the removal and Mass of the Angels of his youngest son.

Reposing at White’s Funeral Home, Doon on Thursday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 8pm to Doon Parish Church. Mass of the Angels on Friday morning at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents Carmel and John, brothers Sean and Philip, grandparents Willie and Ann Cummins and Tony and Breda McDonnell, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.
