LUCKY Ellen Whyte, from Shelbourne Park, has taken home a whopping €38,800 from her appearance on RTE’s Winning Streak last Saturday.

Ms Whyte, who bought her winning ticket to appear on the show in Caherdavin Post Office at Ivan’s Shop on the Ennis Road, won €38,800, which includes an Opel car, on last Saturday’s National Lottery Winning Streak TV Gameshow, held in RTE.

In all over €268,000 was won on the show, the 21st of the season, which is presented by Limerick’s own Geri Maye, along with Dáithí Ó’Sé. Five players from Tipperary, Down, Cavan, Cork and Ms Whyte from Limerick, won prizes to the value of nearly a quarter of a million euro.

To enter the gameshow, players must submit a 3-star ticket in one of the special 3-star envelopes, which are available from all National Lottery Retail Sales Agents.
