Chinese restaurant in Kilmallock fined €3k for food hygiene breaches

HSe: brought prosecution last month

A COUNTY Limerick restaurant has been successfully prosecuted for breaches under EU food hygiene rules.

May Chung of Golden Mill Chinese Restaurant, Sarsfield Street, Kilmallock was fined a total of €3,000 for four breaches of hygiene of foodstuff regulations.

She was also ordered to pay €667 in costs.

The breaches took place on July 18 last year with the HSE bringing the prosecution last month.
