FINANCIAL services firm Pepper Ireland has announced that it is to add up to 50 new jobs to its Irish operation.

FINANCIAL services firm Pepper Ireland has announced that it is to add up to 50 new jobs to its Irish operation.

The company, who employ around 300 people nationally and are based on Atlantic Avenue in the Westpark Business Campus in Shannon as well as Hatch Street Upper in Dublin, will split the new positions between the two operations, it confirmed.

Pepper Ireland, an asset manager and provider of third-party loan and advisory services, is looking to recruit graduates and professionals with experience in commercial mortgages and real estate and will add about 25 jobs to its ranks in Shannon.

The recruitment is to get underway immediately, the company said this Monday.

It said its Irish growth - with this being the second jobs announcement by Pepper Ireland in the last 18 months - was being fuelled by “new business wins and ambitious future plans”.

“Pepper has pursued very rapid growth since entering the Irish market and on the back of a number of significant new business wins we’ve been steadily increasing the number of employees in both Shannon and Dublin,” said Paul Doddrell, CEO of Pepper Ireland.

“Pepper currently has over €12 billion of assets under management and we have exciting and ambitious plans for business over the next 12 month.

“We have attracted great talent in Ireland to date. We are delighted to be in a position to expand our operations even further and give people the opportunity to be part of an exciting, progressive international company with strong growth prospects and ambitious culture,” he added.

The company acquired GE Capital’s Irish residential mortgage business in 2012. It is a leading servicer of third-party loan portfolios, asset management and advisory services spanning a range of asset classes including residential mortgages, commercial mortgages, auto finance, unsecured loans and equipment finance.

A number of positions are already being advertised on the company’s website, including asset management, legal executive, portfolio management and compliance roles.
