The media and communications graduate of Mary Immaculate College always knew that she wanted to spend her life making movies from a young age, and now she’s in with a chance to win €50,000 to make her dream come true.

Budweiser has revealed the final five applicants out of 1,009 applications for their dream job project, where the public will vote via their Facebook page to decide who will win the prize fund. The voting will close at midnight on Friday, September 6, and the overall winner will be revealed in Dublin on September 12.

When Limerickwoman Michelle graduated in 2010, she was awarded the College Medal for Excellence in her field, and then moved to New York to work as video editor and videographer with the prestigious New York Festivals organisation. “I am continuously working to make my dream a reality. Budweiser’s Dream Job is the answer to all my prayers. Winning this competition would give me the funding, time and resources that I need to make short films and bring them to film festivals,” she said.
