A SURVEY of workers at Analog Devices in Raheen shows less than one per cent of employees use public transport to travel to and from work.
ONLY two of 585 Analog employees surveyed for the traffic study use public transport to get to work while only five said they cycle.
The survey findings are included in documents submitted to Limerick County Council as part of the company’s plans to develop 140,000 square feet of office space in a €50 million investment that will create 100 new jobs.
More than 80 per cent of stated they drive to work, while almost one in 10 walk. Over 200 people replied that they would consider using public transport if it was more reliable.
