THE LIMERICK Leader can reveal that top Irish rock band Bell X1 will play a gig in the Big Top at the Milk Market on Friday, December 2.
The rock band are the latest addition to the Live at the Big Top gigs in the redeveloped Milk Market, which in recent weeks has played host to Calvin Harris, The Stunning and Villagers.
Music venue Dolan’s have the contract to run gigs in the outdoor, multi-use venue.
Dublin rockers The Coronas have also been confirmed for a show in the Big Top on Friday November 25. The band recently played to over 7,000 fans at Dublin’s Marlay Park and were the first act to play in the Big Top, appearing as part of Riverfest on the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Bell X1 will tour Ireland in December and are popular in these parts having played several gigs in Dolan’s Warehouse and acoustic gigs in St John’s Church and LIT’s Millennium Theatre over the past couple of years.
They have released a number of critically acclaimed and successful albums in Ireland in recent years, including, most recently, fifth studio album Bloodless Coup in April of this year. They have also had considerable success in the USA.
