SalesiAn secondary school in Pallaskenry will host their annual fundraising fashion show on April 2 in the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare.

Money raised from this year’s event will go towards the building costs of three new classrooms in the school.

The show was launched in Marco Polo restaurant on O’Connell Street where principal Paddy O’Neill and transition year students Holly Cussen, Meghan Adams, Josh Fitzgerald and Richard Downes were joined by teachers, parents and models from Glamour The Agency, who will be taking to the catwalk in the Woodlands.

“We are looking forward to a fantastic night as it brings parents, students and teachers to a great colourful and exciting event,” said Mr O’Neill.

“It also of course gives everyone a chance to dress up and look like a million dollars and also an opportunity to view the fantastic fashion that is available in our shops in Limerick city and county.”

The fashion show is now in its seventh year. Joining the professional models on the catwalk will be students, teachers and parents.

The models’ hair will be styled by the Hugh Campbell Hair Group with makeup by Catherine Hickey. Lorcan Murray will be the MC for the night.

Tickets can be bought in advance from the school at 061-393105.
