THE WALK of Life charity event is on Saturday but the fundraising for Milford Care Centre commences this Thursday evening, October 17 in Bruff Rugby Club.
The parishes of Bruff, Grange and Meanus are delighted to announce details of the Walk of Life fashion show which commences at 7.30pm.
An exciting night will be in store for attendees with professional models hitting the runway free of charge along with local models sporting wonderful fashion from an array of shops for both ladies and gents.
They include Be Fabulous, Fashion House, No. 15 Hats and Accessories, Pamela Scott, Taylor of Blue Menswear, Tony Connolly Menswear, Virginia’s in Limerick city; Katie Jane’s, Castletroy; Chic Boutique, Charleville; Isobel, Kay Boutique, Adare; Raspberry Red, Bruff; Shoes by Serendipity, Adare and Limerick; and Sinead’s of Annacotty.
Music and lighting will be provided free of charge by Hear it Sound and Lighting (Tom Walsh). There are superb spot prizes including a prize for the most elegantly dressed lady sponsored by Keane’s Jewellers and another prize for the most glamorous bag and shoes. The best dressed gentleman will also be rewarded with a prize. Bunratty Castle Hotel has kindly donated the deluxe price which is a 2 night B&B stay and evening meal. Other prizes have been provided by Clontarf Castle, Radisson Blu Hotel, The Loop in Shannon Airport, Savoy Limerick, Isobel and Sinead’s of Annacotty
Tickets for the event cost €10 per person on the door, raffle tickets can also be purchased. All proceeds will go directly to Milford Hospice.
A lot of hard work has been put into the event by the organising committee and they promise and excellent night of fun and fashion. All are welcome
