A FASHION show showcasing the best of fashion from the Munster area has been organised to support the continued delivery of much needed specialist palliative care services by Milford Care Centre.

A FASHION show showcasing the best of fashion from the Munster area has been organised to support the continued delivery of much needed specialist palliative care services by Milford Care Centre.

Cook Medical Sports and Social Club based in Castletroy are hosting the fashion show on Friday, September 6 at 8pm in the South Court Hotel.

Milford Care Centre is a provider of specialist palliative care to the people of the Mid-West. Palliative Care is a practice directed towards improving the quality of life for people living with advanced life-threatening illness.

Last year, Milford Hospice cared for patients, in a variety of settings including the in-patient unit at Milford Home Care and Day Care whilst also offering a range of support services to families and loved ones.

The fashion show will be showcasing the best of Munster fashion and accessories. Local businesses participating in the fashion show include Kate’s Kloset, Aneva Boutique, Gretta Gibbs, Sinead’s Fashions, Katie Janes, Carraig Donn, Helena Modes, Virginia’s Bridal, Imasa, Vision 2 Opticians, Stitch, Serendipidy, Born Clothing, McGoverns and Noels Menswear. Models will be provided by the Holman Lee Agency, hair by Focus Hair Design and make-up by Seventh Heaven. There will be prizes on the night for best shoes, best handbag and best dressed, judged by Celia Holman Lee.

Entertainment on the night will be provided by The Unity Gospel Choir Limerick and High Voltage dance group.
