MUNSTER’S biggest fashion event returns more stylish than ever before to the Crescent Shopping Centre from September 19 to 23.

Inspire 2012 – a five-day fashion extravaganza - will include a host of style events, fashion shows and an exclusive wedding fair, all under the one roof.

Speaking at the launch of Inspire 2012, Limerick style-guru and fashion event co-ordinator, Celia Holman Lee, expressed her excitement at the upcoming celebration of chic.

“I love being involved with Inspire and I’m delighted that the Crescent Shopping Centre is the ‘catwalk’ again this year. Inspire is definitely immune to the seven year itch! The previous six annual events have been massively successful and 2012 will be better than ever,” she said.

“The mix of practical style advice and showing off the latest looks is what makes it so popular,” she added.

The feast of fashion will kick off on Wednesday, September 19 at 10.30am when there will be a charity coffee morning in aid of Console which supports people in suicidal crisis and those bereaved by suicide. On Thursday September 20, there will be a hair and beauty demonstration from 2.30 to 5.30pm followed by an exclusive style master class hosted by Celia Holman Lee at 7pm. On Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22, there will a selection of fabulous fashion shows. Friday’s displays will be from 12.30 to 3pm and from 6pm to 8.30pm while Saturday’s event will be from 12.30 to 2.30pm and from 3.30 to 5pm. Limerick Person of the Year, Richard Lynch, will lend his compere skills to these lively affairs. All fashion shows will take place in the central concourse. Meanwhile, on Sunday September 23, the event will cover all the essential style details of a wedding day. After its successful debut last year, the Wedding Fair will return from 12 noon and will be complemented by a spectacular wedding fashion show at 3pm. Manager of the Crescent Shopping Centre, John Davitt, said Inspire is “a pleasure” to host every year “because of the tremendous buzz it brings to the centre. It is a truly unique event and it improves year after year.” For more information, see www.crescentshoppingcentre.ie and find ‘Crescent Shopping Centre’ on Facebook.
