The affable Offaly funnyman is set to return to the UCH in January, it has been announced, with the new show a nod to his university days as a computer science student before becoming one of the biggest names in Irish comedy.

Audiences can expect the usual banter and quick-witted, well-observed comedy now expected from Delamere, who told this newspaper last year that he “always loves the live stuff, it is the reason you start and that you keep going. Nothing beats the immediacy of having an audience in the room with you.

“With stand-up, what are you limited by? You are limited by the imagination of the audience and yourself and therefore you are kind of limitless, and there is a great freedom in that.”
