Not only will she celebrate her 21st birthday this Saturday, she has also been crowned Miss Limerick 2015.

The Corbally girl was chosen from 30 girls at the beauty pageant in Crush 87 nightclub to represent Limerick at the Miss Ireland competition in July.

“I really did not expect to win. I am so shocked to have won. I’m just amazed - I feel like I am dreaming,” beamed the 5’8” blonde beauty this Friday morning.

Despite her big win, Nollaig kept a lid on the celebrations due to work commitments.

“I’m in work since 8am,” explained the media student who has been doing her work placement in Limerick’s Live 95FM.

“I took photographs and stayed on until about 2am but I couldn’t really drink because I was working this morning but I am definitely going to celebrate tonight. I could not sleep with the excitement.”

A fluent Irish speaker, Nollaig is studying media through Irish in NUI Galway.

She attended Gaelscoil Sairseal primary school and Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh secondary school.

“I’m just finishing my third year now so I will be going into fourth year in September.”

Her style icons include Roz Purcell, Rosanna Davison, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
