WITH lots of men popping the question over Christmas and the New Year, brides-to-be can be assured of some priceless wedding inspiration at the Mid-West Bridal Exhibition.

The University of Limerick Sports Arena and Exhibition Hall in Castletroy will host the most talked about wedding exhibition on Saturday, January, 10 and Sunday, January 11. Doors will be open from 12pm to 6pm on both days.

The event is now in its 15th year and organisers are hoping to ensure that this year’s exhibition is the biggest yet. The Holman-Lee Agency team will be on hand to give inspirational ideas, with two fashion shows taking place daily, covering bridal, bridesmaids, grooms wear, mother-of-the-bride and guest at the wedding. The shows will also feature lots of different hair styles, glowing make-up and unusual wedding bouquets.

“We are very excited about this year’s Mid-West Bridal Exhibition. It is the biggest to date and has always been a hugely successful event. This is one of Ireland’s largest and longest established wedding showcases catering for all aspects of planning your perfect wedding,” said organiser Ger Lee from HL Event Management.

The exhibition will also feature The Style Workshop which is the brainchild of style expert Celia Holman Lee.

“I felt from years of experience when dressing all shapes and sizes that this concept would delight the female attendees,” said Celia who will cover essential tips on how to dress the female form in all shapes and sizes. There will also be demonstrations on hair and make-up.

The exhibition includes information and stalls relating to hotels, reception venues, beauty, makeup, bridal wear, cakes and desserts, wedding cars, bridal designers, florists, footwear specialists, hairdressers, honeymoon services, jewellers, photographers and video, stationery, wedding gift items, and wedding planners.
