Limerick is renowned for its fashion and local fashionistas always jump at the chance to show the rest of the country what the city and county has to offer!
As part of the That’s Limerick exhibition, designs from 17 local boutiques and fashion colleges were showcased in Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin.
Stores which have been in business for generations featured alongside the new fashion pack as models from the Celia Holman-Lee agency showcased the latest summer looks.
There was some wonderful individual styles from sophisticated and tailored looks from Brown Thomas, Helene Modes, Gretta Gibbs, In Vogue, Dolly Boutique, and Amees, to the more edgy and contemporary styles from O’Donnell’s, Imasa, Tippe Canoe, No 15, Vamp, Flax In Bloom and Caroline Mitchell.
The sparkles and glamour came courtesy of Virginia’s, Be Fabulous and The Ivory Close. Limerick College of Further Education and Limerick School of Art and Design received rapturous applause for their unique designs.
